iPhone 6 mass production could kick off next week

According to a new report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, Foxconn is prepping to start mass production of the alleged 4.7-inch iPhone next week. This shouldn’t come as a surprise if the launch of the alleged iPhone 6 is set to be in September, which is usually the time when we get the first official look at the next-generation iPhone models.
In addition, the report further mentions that 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will enter mass production in mid-August, adding more credence to the rumors that hinted about the delayed launch of the phablet sized model.
The manufacturer is reportedly getting ready to hire extra workers to manufacture the upcoming device, and could hire as many as 100,000 employees due to high demand of the handset. This goes in line with a rumor we heard last month which stated Apple suppliers are hiring extra workers to handle the production of the upcoming iPhone 6.
Apple is rumored to be launching two iPhone 6 models by the end of the year, but we also saw a report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who stated it could be as late as 2015 before 5.5-inch iPhone 6 hits retail.
